Dry Weather

We are in a very dry season, and this is not going to be over very soon. October is typically a dry month and due to the already dry conditions we are already having issues with brush/grass fires in Walton and surrounding counties! Please be mindful when having any kind of fires they will spread very rapidly. Currently a Bulldozer from the Florida Forestry Service cost around $80 to $90 an hour, 2 are being dispatched to every fire in the area. On top of that you can be a issued a citation if neglect is seen that started the fire.
